Well I'm against the idea of going to war with Iran, but I think it's more in their hands than ours.

I don't know if it'll happen "soon" though.

My guess is Iran will continue towards "peaceful" nuclear technology. Eventually they'll shut down the reactor to extract fuel, not send fuel back to Russia, or will kick out inspectors under some guise or other.

Now depending on the US president we might just sit back Korea style.

But Isrealis like that whole "living" thing and so I'm pretty sure they'll do whatever it takes to stop Iran from getting to bomb, Iran probably won't just take having their stuff bombed sitting down and will attack back, then the US gets pulled in.

Alternative extra bad scenario. Iran continues to buy Russian air defense systems. Our president does nothing when Iran makes its move for the bomb, and Israel fails to take out the required targets with their first conventional strike. Now, actively at war with an Iran that is about to go nuclear, Israel decides to nuke Iran first.

World holds its breath to see what Russia and Pakistan do.
