Because putting limitations on collectors' rights is unreasonable. Non-collectors don't have a legitimate reason to buy massive amounts of arms at one time, so limits on them would be reasonable.

I wish we would relax gun control to a certain extent. Registration of handguns isn't the problem, it hasn't affected freedom whatsoever. Its the other things like you can only shoot handguns at ranges, you must join a range, you cannot concealed carry, storage regulations are strict, etc. which are the problem.

Focusing the attention on the handgun regristration which barely anyone has a problem with is a complete waste of time.
