One thing I've noticed is that it doesn't matter what the foundations of your beliefs are. Within every group there are people who are materialistic and selfish, and then there are people who value honor, decency, and the well-being of others. Christians and other religious groups are no exception. This also, of course, applies to atheists and agnostics.
