Those of us who are well-read on geopolitics know the importance of having a strong communicator as head of the nation. In fact, the President really
has no other job but to communicate.
For example, the Pentagon makes all the major geopolitical decisions. The Presidents job is to sell the Pentagon's decisions to the public, and get support from other nations to build a coalition. Obama will do a much better job of that than McCain, and therefore, our nation will be able to act more decisively, with more nations having our back.
The end result: America will be safer with a leader that can get American public and international backing, than a dud like Bush or McCain, who lack the charisma to build strong coalitions.
