I still think it's a toss up. You've got a lot of racist people in this nation who will vote against Obama.
But there's also a lot of minorities and educated-whites who Obama will bring to the polls for the first time. Obama
leads heavily with first time voters, which makes me believe that the key to an Obama victory is getting all those folks who are disenfranchised with the system to vote for the first time.
Never before has a non-white candidate competed in the general election, so we're charting new territory here. Hopefully (since I simply want what's best for my country), for every racist who votes for grandpa McCain, there will be a new minority voter (womens, non-white, gays, and all the other people who are tired of being blocked from high level political positions) who will cast their vote for Obama.
