And if you were able to hit the fuel tank with one HEAIP there would be too much fuel for the small blast from the round to create a FAE. It just is not going to happen.

Yeah its definetly one of the more stranger rumors. Theres also the one how terrorists like to use .50 cals! even though it would be completely out of there price range and terrible for close quarter combat..
