What a logically devoid undertaking: take everything in which a Muslim was involved, and attribute all the deaths to Islam. Be sure to use the most extreme estimates developed by partisans with an ax to grind -- like Koenraad Elst (your source can't even spell his name right), a Belgian with anti-Muslim views driven, in part, by his strong, near-unquestioning support for Hindu nationalists.

Never mind that much of the claim is simply wrong. The idea that "Hindu Kush" means "killer of Hindus" postdates the actual term by a century.

It actually means "Seat of the Hindus" or even simply "Hindu mountains." And even the "killer of Hindus" version refers to the mountains' height and deadliness, not Islamic slaughter.
