This is rather simple.

Obama is for all intents Far Left. You yourself say you wonder if you're a Socialist. Well most Democrats supporting Hillary are Moderates and do not want that far left of a person in power. Many of them are and have been content with voting for a Republican in the past(IE Reagan Democrats) and McCain is better to them then Obama. I doubt McCain will get 26% of that but I bet he will get 10% and thats a no win for the Democrats.


With Obama people its the opposite they see Hillary as too much of a centrist and not extreme enough. I doubt many in this bracket will vote for McCain.
