Celtics do play great D, amazing what difference one player makes. Allen is not known for playing defense and last year they were horrendous on D. He alone catapulted them on D, which is why he got the award. He's a great student of the game and a teacher from what the players say. He deserves a ring and I'll pull for them on that basis. Lakers D is a bit shaky and I think a good defender could neutralize Pau. Which is why I think Spurs would beat LA.
