Well, since you're anti-oil-industry. I assume you didn't vote for Bush either time.
Still, since all industry is tied to oil, you could claim that just about anybody is receiving money from oil, directly or indirectly.
And I don't really see why anybody would "fear" Obama's policies. Most of his ideas would only make America a better place, and he's not a war monger, which will make us safer over the long run.
I think most of this Obama hate (some people have a genuine concerns, but most don't) is directly related to him not being a typical white Christian and not having a last name like "McCain". The GOP bases most of it's platform around fear of people and things that are different from them, so naturally, Obama is going to receive a lot of hate.
