Prior to Roe vs Wade, abortion was generally a state issue. The irony is, that the northern states actually were less leniant (atleast during the early 1900s) then the southern states.
Then the whole 60s movement rolled around, and not too long afterward. A psychotic woman by the name Jane Roe, made a lie conspired by the abortion movement that she was raped. (Thus liberals have been using this excuse sense forever..)
The supreme court decreed that abortion was a right, and thus no state could impose a law to tottally ban abortion. That's really the gist of it. Not so much that they couldn't audit ceartain restrictions, as much as they couldn't impose a complete ban.
Future court descisions were further spiral this travesty to new heights, but ultimately this was the start of the child genocide.
Now, if you ask me, sense Jane Roe is now a prolife Christian, Roe vs Wade should be overturned by sheer principle. This would be like having a ku klux klan meeting and Adolph Hitler coming to tell you you're all racist pigs who should be ashamed of yourself. How can these organizations even hold any credibility when the (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) who started it all is against it?!
Roe v Wade was founded on lies, propaganda, and exploiting the feelings and ignorance of everyone. That's all abortion is ever about...
Roe v Wade would not abolish abortion, it would abolish the state's free right to impose whatever laws or lack thereof they want on abortion. That's why libertarians are against it.
And I would suggest an opposition to any abortion laws and call for a constitutional ban on all abortion practices. The role of government is to protect civil liberties, national defense, and enforce national law.
If no abortions was national law, it would be their duty to enforce it.
There is no more righteous a battle then defending an innocent child.
And the civil liberties of the child need to be protected, everyone has a right to life. Murderers don't get to choose murder.
