You wanted to play on semantics...well, this is the definition. When we talk about something being a life, this is what we mean. A skin cell is not analogous to a zygote. A sperm is not analogous to a zygote.
Please, just answer my simple question. Is a living zygote created by two non-life entities, in your view?
