Default A new President in a uncertain South Africa

http://www.news24.com/News24/South_A...396783,00.html

After weks of uncertaintity, the ruling ANC managed to once again mess thngs up by taking stupid decisions. The National Executive Commitee (NEC) asked for President Mbeki to resign, and according to AP he has handed in his reisgnation.

Half of the capinet threatend to go with him, thus we might be slightly without a working government on Monday. In the current international economic crisis, this is not a wonderfull thought.

It also means that the criminal corrupt and immoral Jacob Zuma will be sworn in as our PResident very soon. This is an extremely uncertain time for our country, and another HUGE step away from the dream we had with Mandela and Tutu.

Zuma is a hero, those who falsely accuse him of being corrupt are just the rich constituents of Mbeki.

Mbeki is just a representative of the BMW-driving black bourgeois, not the ordinary poor South Africans. SA will do well if Zuma, the Communists, and the trade unions, can get in power.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Funny one. Mbeki was a mediocre president, for sure, but saying Zuma is innocent is funny. Even his own supporters never said that!! They know he is guilty (the evidence is quite clear, if you will bother to look at it), which is why they tried (successfully) to prevent the case ever comming to court.

3 courths in 3 differentcountris found the other paries in the corruption cases guilty, clearly mentioning that Deputy President Zuma was invloved.

So to say Zuma is not guilty is to not have looked at any facts.

He s guilty. He is corrupt. He is dangerous, imoral lunatic, who had sex wit a very young woman in his charge, who stole money from his people, who drives a few BMW's himself, who is supported by the ANC youth league, famous for their own corruption and all driving BMW's.

So, want to make a snesible andinformed contribution?

what do you think of the anarchist movement in africa? because to be honest, im looking forward to it, since i think its the only thing which can solve the problems in africa, not just south africa, but africa as a whole.
i see something coming along like what came along in spain in the 30s, an anarchist society in which people finally managed to live healthy and free.

here's a link for those who havent heard about anarchism in south africa:

It seems the ANC is splitting. I heard a BBC news report on that today. I can see why people don't like Zuma but Mbeki was a complete dill and is best put out to pasture. A split would be interesting, it may even allow the opposition DA to get some traction.

If the split is peaceful, and so far it has been, then it is the best thing that has happend to this country since 1994. Now we may call ourselves a true democracy. The DA (a bunch of useless old fools at the best oftimes) will not really increase its votes, but the ANC will lose it overwelming majority. With one party having 67% of the votes, it is too much power for us to be seen as a democracy, and our briljant constitution is just a piece of paper that can be changed on the whim of the ruling party. But if the new party can take 10% of those votes away from the ANC, we normalice, and we can start going forward.

AH

PS. Mbeki is not is not part of the split, but remains with the ANC

Yes, a landslide win for any government isn't going to give good government. Good to hear things are peaceful as well, let's hope it stays that way but it would seem that the split itself may well be a means of reducing pressure so that's a healthy thing.

I wish you and your country all the best in this uncertain and troubling time.
