As many others have artfully stated, I truly believe that this unauthorized "war" has simply created more terrorists.

This may not be the best example, but imagine if the United Nations sent armed forces into the U.S. because they felt that we may use our atomic weapons (WMD's we do have) inappropriately, that we mistreat some of our citizens (racial tension, religious intolerance), and that our election process gave an unfair bias to certain groups (dems/repubs versus libertarian or communist). I am sure there would be plenty of us who would rise up against this, and take whatever action (including acts that would be seen as terrorism) we felt was necessary to repel these "invaders."

After a certain point, those who come as "liberators" wear out their welcome, and are then seen as invaders.
