I hold the opinion that there should be abortion to some degree, but there needs to be a set standard that considers poverty and family conditions of the pregnancy. Only when the child will live in misery from birth should the parents be allowed to make the decision to abort.

So you're basically saying the U.S.A. should bring back drafting, but only for children too young to go to war, so that when they grow up they will be trained for combat? Why don't we just make military service compulsory for all children, and make it law that all citizens of the U.S.A. serve a minimum of 5 years fighting in an overseas country, no matter what they want...
