"Progressive" is a new euphemism for "liberal"...for all intents and purposes, the two words mean the same thing where political ideologies in America are concerned. The people who hold to the
original meaning of the word tend to call themselves "classic liberals".

Refusal is irrelevant. I don't call myself a neocon because I want to feel like one. I call myself a neocon because that is what other people label my ideology.
