I don't think it was biased at all. I think it had an African-American perspective but he continually said, "Different does not mean deficient". That sounds pretty unbiased to me.

I think he meant that change was coming that would elevate the black man to an even level of the white man. That sounds pretty Christian to me.

No, he was making points about how we are different (but not deficient). He was showing how the educational system used to not be conducive to the different styles of learning. Maybe this was the change he was talking about?

I think that's probably true. To someone who is not used to hearing a speaker with that much energy, might think that he was angry, while someone who is used to hearing such a speaker would not find it abnormal.
