Socialism doesn't leave a whole lot of room for social libertarinsm. Really what it comes down to is negative vs positive rights.

Negative rights are related to drug, offenssive speech, sex, etc.
Positive rights are related to wages, protection, welfare, etc.


This country is all (*)(*)(*)(*)ed-up when it comes to it's priorities.
I just want to know if I understand you right. Are you saying that the US has become too socialist, or are you saying that you agree with your idea of negative and positive rights?
