Well at the moment we seem to be trying our best at diplomacy. Actually managing to stop some Russian weapon shipments supposedly and getting some sanction put on Iran.

The trick with all this is that they have the nuke plant that they have, and either they run it have have access to plutonium or they don't run it. This binary nature of the problem makes middle ground harder to find.
