The two are not reconsilable. Hopefully one day psychologists can explain the few deviants who manage to departamentalize the two.
As to Newton, he lived at a time and in a culture where it was unthinkable to be anything other than a Christian.
He also died well over a hundred years before Darwin's explanation of why we are here.

That is never an explanation, for Ed's sake! Just because something cannot be proved does not make it equally likely that it is true or not true. This is the reason that I sometimes mention tea cups orbiting Alpha Centayri or pink unicorns or invisible dragons in my garage or gremlins in my washing machine or whatever bull you can imagine.
I cannot prove that the above random inventions don't exist, but do you seriously feel that they as likely to exist as not to exist? (I can mention hundreds more if you like).

Thde theory of Evolution is no more a "theory" than say the theory of inheritance or the theory of electromagnetics. These things are facts, just as you radio or your television are facts.

No it is not. Orange is a color because humans can distinguish something which is orange from something which is not.
