I say that because ive traveled all over the world, I actually used to live in Ireland and I can say that people around the world are mostly the same....slight differences and beliefs of course but mostly the average person just wants to be happy and have a safe and peaceful life for them and their families.
Now obviously im American, but the things that Danish doesnt like about the U.S. are quite honestly the things I dont like about it either.
I dont like how religious we are....I feel it has hurt us as a nation. And while I dont necessarily think social conservatism is a "bad" thing, I DO think it limits ones individual freedom and I myself am very Socially Liberal.
There are things about Europe that I love more than the U.S. and quite honestly there are some things about EVERY European nation that are ridiculous.
I wont go so far as to say that I "hate" or "dislike" any of those nations though. There are a few places in Europe that IMO would be just as nice to live in as the U.S. but quite honestly I would prefer the U.S. over the majority of European nations I have ever been to.

Thank you. I hope you understand that while I was making points I feel are true, the main point of my opening post was intended as a spoof on a woo-woo thread with the same title as mine.
If I had wanted to make a serious thread on these points I would have entitled it: "Things I don't like about the US".
I don't dislike the US in general. I do dislike certain things about it.
