It appears Dems and Reps have got to together on certain points such as "no golden parachutes for Wall Street CEO's" This could be settled before McCain even gets there.

Reid knows the result of McCains coming back to Washington to take a leadership road in these debates, and make no mistake, he WILL be front and center in the hearings.

Reid is so obvious in his actions here that it really is embarrassing to watch him.
Be careful what you wish for Harry Reid.

Here Reid is yesterday almost pleading for McCain to show where he stands. Now he wants the opposite?

The libs are inept fools as proven by their reckless reguations that created this subprime disaster. Of course Dingy Harry and the libs don't know what to do. THANKS FOR TELLING US WHAT WE ALREADY KNOW YOU DUNCE HARRY. For the first time, I can honestly say that you, Dingy Harry, have shown a beacon of what may be able to be construed as brain activity by deferring to John McCain

Yeah I cant quite understand Harry Reid saying that last week, then yesterday saying he needs the Republican candidate to tell him where he stands so they can move forward.

Either he is to inept to make a decision on his own(where I stand), or he doesnt understand that he just uped McCain and downgraded Obama.

Shouldnt he have said, we cant move until Obama lets us know? Since that is their candidate?

I cant wrap my brain around what he is trying to accomplish with this. Making everything hinge on what McCain does, makes it seem like McCain is the guy to call upon. All important. Unless they are trying to trap him and tie him to Bush again, which is just a weird way of going about doing that.

They want to be able to distract the blame onto any republican they can. They know this is their mess. That is why they aren't calling for investigations.

Unlike Obama... Mccain actually has influence and ability to cause thing to occur.

Nobody needs Obama in any regard. He has no influence of merit. No power of worth.
He's meaningless to the process.
