What you fail to understand is that the greatest compliment you can give is to see the truth of someone- their glory and failings- and still respect them. That you need cower from the truth to maintain you're allegiance is sickening and let me re-stress, worrying. If you cannot admit an error you cannot learn from it, and therefore risk its repetition.

A point you keep missing- civilians are not acceptable targets in war. If that doesn't strum your moral fibers, then I doubt any intellectual argument will. I repeat again though that your call for revolution (in response to Pearl harbour?) is laughable, given its scope and the (I assume) tight control of the flow of information in Japan at that time. And to say that the many utter innocents that died were somehow murderers...
