You think that's political correctness? You don't know the meaning of the word. This is political correctness:
'Baa Baa Black Sheep' has been renamed 'Baa Baa Rainbow Sheep' - because it might offend blacks.
Blackboard is now called Chalkboard as it too might offend blacks - this doesn't apply to whiteboards, though.
A teacher can no longer say 'good boy' or 'good girl' to their students because it may offend other students who didn't receive the same praise.
Humpty Dumpty doesn't fall off the wall because it's deemed too 'violent'.
The wolf is not killed by the axeman in Red Riding Hood, because it's too 'violent'
Someone decided that the 'Three Little Pigs' were offensive to builders, because the story apparently implies that all builders are pigs, or something as equally stupid.
'Fairy Penguins' were renamed Little Penguins after someone decided it might offend gays. The gay community scoffed - they weren't offended even the slightest - and the original name was returned to them. I wonder if the name was changed because Little Penguins offend 'Little People'
That's just off the top of my head.
THAT is what you call political correctness, and it's rampant.
