Give me an example of the USA using force against another nation since WW2 that was purely based on SELF DEFENCE?

Even WW2 was not purely based on self defense.

Has another nation EVER attacked the US on its home soil? (amd dont say pearl habour by the Japanese because at the time, Hawaii was not a US controlled territory)

Kamehameha III placed Hawaii under U.S. protection in 1875.
In 1887, the United States was granted permission to establish a naval base in Hawaii at Pearl Harbor. Later, U.S. sugar interests encouraged that the King be overthrown, and Hawaii was established as a republic in 1893. U.S. domination of the islands came five years later, when the United States annexed Hawaii and it became a U.S. territory in 1900.

Rino,
What are you suggesting that the UN join the illegal invasion of Iraq ans search for terrorists, WMD's and install a democracy? Youre kidding right?

I have said several times before that I did not agree with us going in. But now that we are there we need to finish up. I suggesting that the UN should have done their job years ago - if they had we would not be there now.

The 912,356 Iraqi civilian deaths caused by US bombs is BLOOD on the hands of George Bush and his few allies who are fleeing his side in a quick hurry.

That number is seriously inflated.
Hated by some, sure. Weaker nations always hate a stronger one.
