No with america and guns the thing is that there are millions in circulation and the majority are unregistered gun control works to put limits on people who spend the time to register there gun and actualy obey the law.
So gun control has the very nasty habit of only taking guns out of people who don't want to commit crime and don't want to shoot anybody. The people who only keep them to defend themselves from burglers and rapists and thugs and so on.
The trick is criminals
HATE it when citizens have guns they walk into somebodys house or attack someone or try to force themselves on a woman and there at risk of getting shot! so guns are actualy a powerful deterent for crime.
Thats why we get the enigma in america (also in other countrys aswell) were if we ease the gun control and let people have guns the crime rates drop and everyone becomes safer. And when we put on gun control murder and assault increase.
Thats the
real problem in society is that guns arn't seen as a tool for good but something that should be removed.
Id recomend looking into it a bit more there are some fasinating statistics and evidence out there.
