And I don't recall any political 'old style bigots' ever having the guts the broadcast themselves on shows such as have i got news for you, in which two of the wittiest people in television have a job of tearing into anyone else on the show, no, it's a pretty new concept for any politician. Are you just randomly word associating- I'll have a go, jeffrey archer- r'n'b music lover.

Any old style in boris is merely blended with new ideas in a formula that will hopefully improve the city of london and I for one wish him the best of luck for a term that by the way he hasn't even started yet.

Might I suggest you read a little more carefully? English is a language you folks on the Eastern side of the pond cobbled together, yourself, after all.

What I said is that he APPEALS TO old style bigots. His use of terms such as "watermelon grins" and "piccininnies" , as well as the fact the BNP selected him as their number 2 candidate (and yes, I know he rejected such endorsement) certainly supports the notion that my statement was accurate.

My original observation still stands, namely that the two most prominant candidates represented a difficult choice in terms of the lesser evil. Lest you interpret such a statement as my somehow choosing Red Ken as the lesser of such, please be advised that I don't. IMO, it is people like Livingston or the Respect Party who represent the greater danger to you folks because their twisted sense of multiculturalism (and political pandering) had led them to support that which is absolutely incompatable with modern, liberal society.

BTW -- I don't know the television program in question, so wouldn't know what transpired. As to the wittiest people in television, though, would Steven Frye be one of them by any chance? I'm a big fan of his.
