Apparently you are no judge of international law. The coalition engaged Iraq in war as a consequence of its invasion of Kuwait. The armistice that Saddam Hussein signed at the end of that war was not fulfilled by the government of Iraq. So, your illegal, unprovoked war turns out to be both legal, and provoked.
