This is not "the atheistic point of view". As an atheist, I don't believe that any of those things are created by a God, but I do acknowledge them as special phenomena, humans moreso than mountain ranges and oceans. Humanity is, as far as we know, a one-of-a-kind phenomenon in the universe. This is different from the fact that a person might be so used to it that it is no longer special to them, that it has become mundane.

The uniqueness of such a phenomenon as us, the tendency to become used to those things which are constantly around us, and the existence of god, are all pretty unrelated to one another.
