Rightwing means, in its broadest definition, the support of the status quo. While there are flaws in this definition, particularly the fact that the status quo can be anything, so long as it exists already, the status quo in America is republicanism, and therefore, by the current definitions of rightwing, fascism is not. It's a very simple argument, but it hinges on the definitions of the terms. Please give your definitions of any terms that you wish to use.
