I, speaking only for myself, even though I suspect that the others would largely agree with me, deny that it matters negatively even if it did exist in the full form that Al Gore wants it to be portrayed as. I literally don't care. I'm not even against it in the rebellious "I'm going to throw even MORE trash on the ground" kind of way. I just don't care one way or the other. Sometimes picking up trash makes me feel good, so I do it, but sometimes I decide that in the grand scheme of things I picked up that piece of trash just because Captain Planet told me to back when I was in second grade. I also think that a lot of things that global warming nuts tell me to do are just basic common sense that I would probably agree with doing even if I was assured that the world will continue in perfect perpetuity for one million billion years. However, I also think that a lot of things that global warming nuts do, say, want me to do, and want me to say are ridiculous and I would be better served trying to play the stock market buying on margin instead of worrying about a carbon footprint that is based on sci-fi gypsy fortune teller crap. The global temperature might even be increasing, but I don't think that you can convince me that there is anything wrong with this unless you concoct some sort of climatological "normal temperature." I probably wouldn't even fully accept that scenario because there is no way that you can account for literally a planet+atmosphere's-worth of variables in a way that could reflect an objectively (or even a subjectively) bad direction of climate.
