Except that it's a myth to presume to separate the financial from the social................it cannot be done. The two are tied together and are inseparable.

Having said that, White Fox has good intentions in wanting to redefine left and right.

However, this statement only scratches the surface, not touching on what's perhaps the most important distinction between the two. It's mostly about CONTROL. While generally stated by some, those on the Left believe government should control all things economic but nothing moral, the Right believes the government should control all things moral but nothing economic.

Really, whether dealing with moral rules or economic rules, we on the Left believe government to be the most effective controller of our society's destiny, and those on the right consider freedom and competition to be the best "governor." More government in all areas is the Leftist mission, less government overall the Right's.

Today's world requires oversight by a central ruler to sort out things that have grown too important to be left up to personal liberty or choice. That's why our society moves steadily left, more and more regardless of whether in the control of Republicans or Democrats. People whine about liberty, then vote it out. Obviously, freedom is overated and unnecessary.

I urge everyone to support Barak Obama or Hillary Clinton this November, in order to finish the transition of America into the global community of socialism, and abandon old, outdated notions of individual liberty.
