These same groups basically attract those who are looking for something and will find it, regardless of how much evidence is against them. By that I mean those who feel they are a victim of race will turn any statistic they can find into something that will show that. It no longer becomes searching for ways to bring about equality, but a means for a bunch of cry babies to try to turn any issue, no matter how innocent, into an issue of race or gender.

My other issue is that these same people who hold these views have next to no knowledge about the mechanics of how things actually work. Someone in Sociology may make claims about what this nation needs to do for economic equality, but they enter the realm of Economics (my major) and have absolutely no idea what they are talking about. Did you see Obama's response to the capital gains tax? The far left would rather drag an entire nation down just so the dumbest and laziest in society get a little bit more? Talk about the first step to destroying an entire nation.

My main issue with liberals and the youth today (my generation and younger) is that far too many of them want change and have no reserve in making outrageous statements about things they do not understand, or even make an attempt to understand. I'm really sick and tired of the "I'll shoot everyone above me in the foot, so I can catch up," attitude.

Fair enough....I recently changed my major and am now majoring in History so I may fall slightly into that category you are talking about lol.

I get what your saying, and I also agree to an extent that alot of "educated" people are simply just morons with a piece of paper claiming they are something special.

However on the flip side I also think that it should be applauded when someone works hard and gets a degree, and they shouldn't be called idiots.

I would personally prefer to live in a nation with MANY college grads as opposed to FEW college grads. Im not saying there is anything even remotely wrong with not going to college...Its just not for everyone. I mean my Grandfather is my hero and he didnt even graduate high school. Im just saying that the more educated our nation I think the better off we are.

In regards to Obama, the point I was simply trying to make is that someone called his supporters "UN-EDUCATED" and I was pointing out the truth, which is that most of his supporters are actually educated people.

I didnt say they were smarter than everyone else, simply EDUCATED. There is a difference.
