If I were in uniform today, fighting a war, and needed to lay down my life to save an innocent person - yes because that is my call.
The place I am in today seeing the fighting that is going on and the stupidity of some of the rules of engagement that I see - not blowing up places of worship, heros being brought up on charges of murder, political correctness hamstringing our efforts. I am at the point that I want the advantage and I may have spoken with emotion instead of intelligence.

Sir, I am no hero. But thank you.
I think that you once said that you were in the military, or had been in, so you may understand what I am going to say. Some may not..
This gun club’s first responsibility is to the mission, then to her troops. My first responsibility as a leader will always be to my Marines.
I do not justify it as saving one of my own. But my first choice will always be my boys.
