As is typical, your hypothesis is nonsense: "what people will allow in power to the people." In constructing this sentence you avoid the use of 'government' to prevent, either consciously or sub-consciously, exposing your true intention; in truth your statement would read: "what Government will allow in power to the people."

People have very little power, thus the need for government, which collects to sum the power, which the Right wing inherently recognizes as the problem with government. Thus the reason that the framers designed the USC exclusively to LIMIT THE POWER OF GOVERNMENT, so as to PROTECT THE GOD GIVEN INALIENABLE RIGHTS OF THE INDIVIDUAL.

As did the framers of the US, modern Right wingers: AKA: capitalists, believe that the people; meaning each individual is endowed by their creator with inalienable RIGHTS and that those rights come with a duty to not exercise those rights to the detriment of others...

but a hardcore capitalist or a hardcore socialist, either one will believe in strong restrictions- independent of the feeling of the population- on what the government is allowed to set as economic policy.
No... wrong again; there is no potential wherein a capitalist, meaning the advocate of the free exchange of goods and services, can be equated with a socialist; meaning the advocate of State subordination of the rights of the individual to the benefit of the State.

But your post is filled with overtly deceptive tactics in trying to equate good with evil and as such is readily discerned as EVIL.

Get thee behind me Satan...
