But stuff like that has a way of coming back to bite you, like it did us in Afghanistan. After all, once we're gone, you *know* those weapons and training are going to be turned on the Shiites.

I think Iran would be tres stupido to give any significant support to the Sunni groups -- particularly the extreme extremists like AQ. They may support some Sunnis, but not AQ.
