We are soft bodied, slow footed animals lacking effective claws or fangs, possess nothing by way of defensive armament, are not poisonous to any degree, are not able to blend in with our environment and are unable to emit anything more noxious than some occasional foul smelling flatulence.

If we didn't operate collectively, our predators would have gotten us long ago.
