Closet liberals (Deflect!) in the Republican party spend more. True conservatives support small government, low taxes, a balanced budget, and limited regulation of the economy. (True conservatives dont exsist any longer - see Barry Goldwater) Liberals like to spend money on domestic plans, tax people to get money for these domestic plans, and regulate the economy for the good of all.
