I think it's too early. Although I want to believe Obama will take it, I think we need to wait until the middle of October. No telling what surprises they think they have waiting.

It's too early to predict what the outcome will be. Every day in politics can produce some new revelation that will swing the pendulum the other way. There are still six weeks left, plenty of time for both McCain and Obama to screw up some more.

Are you ever!

A few elections ago our Conservative Party was wiped out in an election - only two members* of one of our historically strongest parties were elected. The decimation was due to a number of things that could be summed up as arrogance. Might be time for that in the US.

*the joke was that the Conservatives were the first party to reach gender equality - one female and one male being elected.
