Couldnt they instead just have forced Snipes to take some really rotten movie roles to pay back those amounts??

Im a big time MMA (ufc) fan, there were rumors awhile back that Wesley Snipes was interested in having a fight with UFC commentator Joe Rogan. He could have done that for some extra cash.

I know Snipes is the one to blame here....But I wouldnt have thrown the poor guy in prison.
