It was US policy that Saddam would be undermined and overthrown before this administration came into office. Many projects and operations were done to destabilize and possibly cause the populace or some of his inner circle to oust him and install a new leader. This was policy handed to the present administration when they came into office. It wasn't invented in 2000.
911 happened. We struck at those who were behind it. We were fairly successful and handed the country over to native leadership. Arguments can be made all day about the statement "finish the job" in Afghan but the reality is that you or no one else knows if the job would have been finished by us just focusing there after outing the Taliban.
We've been engaged in a global conflict since out eyes were opened on 911. We've fought in more places than just Iraq since invading Afghan.

I never mentioned that Bush pardoned anyone? The Prosecutors do indeed serve at the pleasure of the President; No augment! When there is a disgruntled Prosecutor (Republican by the way) that says his termination interview was not correct in terms of the reason he was given for his firing and the involvement of the attorney general (This is all fact) which didn’t belong, as well as the E-mails that have been released in public one can draw an opinion that this was a designed situation! The hearing are on you tube! (Don’t take my word for it) 2000 came down to one state! The election was certified by Catherine Harris and then finalized by the Supreme Court. Why did it go there for their decision on it! Contested. Go find a copy of Bushes auto biography if you don’t believe my statements about his comments in regards to Iraq. Cindy Sheehan read it in a committee discussing Iraq and the call to go to war (I hate her screechy voice). We've been engaged in a global conflict way before 911, so take some time to read up on all our dealings around the world before you boil it all down to 911. I’m not going to argue about "Finishing the Job" we all know it needs to be done! Its not mis-information, it’s the truth and you have seen it yourself but choose to dismiss it!
