anyway, Judge Learned Hand said it best:

"Anyone may arrange his affairs so that his taxes shall be as low as
possible; he is not bound to choose that pattern which best pays the
treasury. There is not even a patriotic duty to increase one's taxes.
Over and over again the Courts have said that there is nothing sinister
in so arranging affairs as to keep taxes as low as possible. Everyone
does it, rich and poor alike and all do right, for nobody owes any
public duty to pay more than the law demands."

so, while Warren Buffett shares his financial wisedom with a nation which refuses to listen to it, he has no obligation to act against his self interest (which dumb behavior is yet another post-Goldwater republican trait)

Oh, I get it...so a DEMOCRAT rich guy doesn't have to pay "his fair share" of taxes???? Why is it that the democrats always whine about "the rich not paying enough in taxes," but rich allies like Buffett get a free pass? Why do democrats so desperately strive to oppress the wealthy, and bleed them dry then? Oh, but Buffett isn't breaking any laws, so he's ok??? If Obama gets to the White House, are all the tax increase laws he passes going to have clauses that excuse democratic supporters like Buffett??
You can't pick and choose who you persecute with taxation. This is completely hypocritical.
