Unfortunately, many of those are poor blacks, which further increases their proportion of the crime rate. However, it is not because of their race, it's just an unfortunate fact of economic life and they should try harder to better their economic situation. Of course, then you have liberals talking about "affirmative action" that would give blacks money until they didn't have more than their fair share of the crime rate but that's just pointless.

Anyway, your analogy makes a little more sense but it is still somewhat misleading.
