I don't have to explain their votes. SHE is the Speaker of the House---the Majority Leader. She's the one charged with leading. She even LOST 95 of her own party's votes. Had she had just a small portion of those, she would have passed it.

That's pathetic as far as leadership goes. Not a very good example for women by the first woman Speaker of the House in history.

She's Tom Delay but without the charm! <G>

Your post is misleading. Just listen what Obama or Pelosi are talking about. It is quite clear that lack of proper government's regulations brought us where we are now during Bush administration. Eight years was enough. Nobody can help Republicans now so obvious it became.

Pathetic is that she told those that are up for re-election this November, that they could vote NO!

it is funny to see that some hardcore Obama supporters are totally ignoring these hard, solid evidences.

to obama fans: if you just like to see Obama on TV, i promise, if Obama becomes a movie start or singer and startins rapping... , i will watch his movie, and buy his CD album, to support him..

but now, we are voting for America's great leader.
so please.. think before you vote

Yep sure did, and this is when your party held the majority on both sides, answer me one question. Why didnt you pass the regulations then?

So my question is this, where were the Republicans with there majority to save us all ?? They had control of the Senate, House, and White House...yet nothing was done. The same holds true for the 2007-2008 Congress (minus the WH). The Democrats had control and yet did nothing. There is enough blame here to go around. For either side to not accept it simply justifies the approval rating Congress has held for the past 4 years. And speaks volumes to the point that people are too busy fixing the blame rather than fixing the problem. (Kudos to McCain for using my exact words earlier today.)

My thoughts exactly. I see they ignored your posts to make their point. I for one happen to agree with you. There is no one party at fault for this mess, both neglected to pass legislation that would negate this type of fallout.

Ultra conservatives are in the minority, thank God. Much worse than ultra-liberals, who are merely annoying at times.
Yep, his campaign manager accepted funds from F/F as recent as September, but yet thats ok i guess. No wrong doing there.

A Noble Effort yes, but the problem was that when McCain blew the whistle back in 2004, that the system was being abused, the Democrats and YES SOME Republicans, were on the take and wanted to keep the status Quo.

Read and get yourself an education.

If you actually believe that the republican party is without blame your are either a partisan hack or completely blind. Deregulation i guess had no part in this right? Surely the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act played no role in this as well. No party can point the finger at the other, Congress needs to man the (*)(*)(*)(*) up and quit playing politics and admit they screwed the American people over.
