Israel would waist Iran in a land or air fight but Iran's missiles are the problem.

Iran has a sick amount of medium range ballistic missiles... while they may not be the most accurate things on the planet they could at least hit Israel and they can tipped with chemical/biological war heads.

We all know there are counter measures for missiles and many would be shot down but some would get through... which is why Iran wants the nuke... which is also why Israel will never let Iran get that nuke.

The US would undoubtedly be dragged into the fight... which is why the diplomatic options are so important right now...

If a war with Iran did break out Iran would do heavy damage to Israel, the middle ease could potentially rise up against Israel, the US would suffer casualties and spend an insane amount of money, and finally Iran would be decimated.

The only thing worse then going to war with Iran is Iran getting a Nuke.

The diplomatic options are important but if it comes down to it... we gotta do what we gotta do... Same with Israel. Right now though, we have to try as hard as we can to make the diplomatic options work.
