Yes - but this thread is from an Australian attacking Australia. Not a US poster attacking Australia, so it's not quite the same. Just as you may be harsher with a US poster attacking the US, Makkede probably feels a little harsher towards an Australian attacking Australia, if you know what I mean.
I personally don't have an issue with people criticising my country - whether they are from here or not. I'm not blindly nationalistic. None of us are perfect and nor are our countries.

No, chick. The gist of this thread is that the OP is obviously passionate and vocal about our history in terms of our native peoples and their treatment - both in the past and now.
He just didn't put it very well.
He is saying that Australia is a crime scene because when our ancestors arrived here they slaughtered many thousands of indigenous people and pretty much got away with it. And that death and injustice to indigenous Australians has continued throughout our history and is still continuing today.
He's just sensationalist and not very good at starting a thread about a discussion that would probably be very interesting if it were approached the right way.
