Cape Grim in Northern Tasmania got its name because of the slaughter of ALL the indigineous people that lived there for tens of thousnads of years by 6 white settlers with guns.
Grim indeed - I suppose they needed land, you know chop all the trees down, wrech the natural habitat and introduce foreign weeds and pests such a wheat and sheep.
