There was no brutality in the 1960s, yet you wanted the same: to breakaway from Yugoslavia that sheltered you and gave you everything, made humans out of tribes and hordes.
You clearly don't know what you are talking about. Let me refresh your memory. Does Rankovic ring a bell? I'm sure it does, as you agreed to what he did to the Kosovar Albanians was right.

Only a man with a twisted brain, and who is full of hatred would agree with Rankovic, as he was no different that Milosevic.

The situation in Kosova during the 60's and before, was just like the situation Milosevic and his Chauvinistic regime caused in the 90's.

Yugoslavia's motto used to be "brotherhood and unity". But it was also meant to be a country of equality. This whole idea is beautiful - but in the real world, this was far from the truth. Esp when it came to the Kosovar Albanians, as they had nothing in common with the Slavs. Their rights were constantly denied; the right to exist freely of oppression, the right to carry on cultural heritage, etc - hence the demonstrations the followed during the late 60's.

In 1974 Tito decided to give Kosova autonomy- the demonstrations payed off. The Kosovar Albanians were given more rights- now they were free to carry on their cultural heritage, free to establish their own parliament, as well as legal and education systems.
These were rights that the Albanians enjoyed having. But they only lasted till '89 ( the year Milosevic revoked Kosova's autonomy )

Stop whining and emrace the truth you are history inventors and thieves.
That's Serbia's speciality, who would want to take that away from you.

“We lie to deceive ourselves, to console others; we lie for mercy, we lie to fight fear, to encourage ourselves, to hide our and somebody else’s misery. We lie for love and honesty. We lie because of freedom. Lying ie is the trait of our patriotism and the proof of our innate smartness. We lie creatively, imaginatively, inventively.”- Dobrica Cosic Former Serbian President

Who is oppressing you in Macedonia, huh? What the hell is ANA (Albanian national army) doing in Macedonia? Why did Macedonian military forces beat the hell out of that terrorist organization in the region of Tetovo?

Do you know why you still keep your terrorist mouths shut in Greece? Because Greece is in EU and in NATO and has the strongest military in the Balkans and would beat the life out of you if you even mentioned independence of Epyrus.

Just like the Albanians in Kosova were denied their rights; The FYROM Government kept denying the rights of the Albanians in FYROM- hence the clash in 2001. Which was later followed by the Ohrid Agreement- signed by both parts.

The Greek Government as well treats its minorities poorly. In fact the minorities there are treated even more poorly than the ones in FYROM, and I'm not just talking about the Albanians that live there.

That is who you really are: create situations in order to provoke police and military to react, then whine about being oppressed and call upon intervention from the outside since you are very well known cowards in the Balkans.
Last time I checked it was Serbia and its people who elected people such as Milosevic.

We have Serbia and its people to thank for the stability that has been in the Balkans for the last -15-20 years.
