For example Death Valley in California. Another example is Lake Assal in Africa. This is one of the lowest areas in all of Africa. In this region this water evaporates rapidly because the climate there is one of the hottest and driest on Earth.
New Orleans is a liability waiting to happen. It is surrounded by water and in a Hurricane corridor.

New Orleans is a strageic hub for vast amounts of commerce and Oil and Gas Pretroleum that cannot be denied. Port Fourchon below New Awlins is crucial for Oil production. It is a vital iinterest to the nation. Any bright minded individual can see that.
