The Jews based their written language on the Phoenicians, whereas Germanic writing was original. Earlier imitation vs. later innovation is an interesting debate, but if we're going to use it as a mark of superiority, what of the New World and African peoples that did neither until someone forced them to? Inferior?
Europeans were erecting complex structures when the Jews were still in tents. It takes some intelligence to create, for example, barrows that very precisely allow the sun to shine inside of them only during a given solar event, once a year.
Those "betters" along the Roman frontier were, themselves, thieves, by the reasoning above.
Rancid butter (primitive wax, in function) is no more disgusting a hair-treatment than African dung-smearing, and somewhat less-disgusting, in my biased opinion...
Fermented milk is a popular traditional drink in many Asian cultures that aren't particularly barbaric.
